Selling Oranges

This man was curious as to why I wanted to photograph him when I asked his permission, when I told him that I was posting pictures of Lahore Daily he asked and what does that gain, very inquisitive fellow, makes his living selling seasonal fruit in his cycle converted into a mobile shop.

Great picture, those oranges look great. Would they be grown in Pakistan? It’s good that he didn’t mind you taking his photo.

I get asked this all the time. The concept of shring ideas, images and cultures though the cdp seesm to escape them. What it gains hopefully is abetter understanding of another's world.

A fine protrait you have here. What is to be gained, the gentleman asked. Thats a good question. Perhaps we take our photos to share our cultures with each other Hopefully to gain a better understanding and sense of community. Perhaps peace.
