This tomb belongs to Asaf Khan who was the brother in law of the emperor and a noble in his court, He was also the father of Mumtaz Mahal in who's honor Emperor Shah Jahan erected the Taj Mahal. The tomb is part of the Dilkusha Garden complex where Emperor Jehangir is buried. Due to lack of funding this historical building is all but crumbled, built around the same time as Jehangir's tomb this building is in ruin compared to the Emperor's tomb.

But somehow its crumbling condition impresses us with its venerable age.
The artistry and the patterns on the monuments is wonderful. The Arabic style work (my description) is always very appealing and so ahead of its time, as I suppose some other dates from the early centuries.Handing back the photos is a fine idea, keep at it. Unusual icon: the island, one wonders why.
Wow, it is too nice and historic of a building to let waste away. I hope funds can be found to save this building for generations to come.
I like this photo, the building has something of fascinating
I love this long shot. It adds real empasise to the buildings age somehow. We really shpuld preserve our older building.
A wonderful ruin !!
The Dilkusha Garden complex is a impressive place with marvellous buildings.
