Although this looks and is dangerous, it is common to see people sitting and standing on top of buses moving at 70KM/ Hour. Even though its illegal, no one bothers to check the practice.
its fun thrill and risk of life all combined. a common scene here in lhr. btw i luv the pic, it captures so much; the carefree youth, the unknown danger, nonchalant 'fikar na faka' attitude
I don't think I'd try to stop them. It's not that they look dangerous (although they look just a little tough). But I don't think they'd listen to me. They're having too much fun. I like this picture a lot, DP!

You're right it looks a little dangerous, but also a lot of fun and a great way to travel. Better than being jammed into an overcrowded bus.
Do they do it for fun, bravado or just because there is no room?
I guess it could be all three!
This is something you woul dnever see in the States. It sure looks fun.
LOL :)
Beautiful scene.

Clueless, I'v never tried it but I'm sure its a lot of fun, people do it even if the bus is empty like in this case.
Kris, its mostly Fun and Bravado only in very few cases a lack of space.
Marcel, I know thats why I put it up, i think we'v established its a lot of fun.
Uma, Thank you.
Mubi, Thank you, I loved the Fiqar na Faqa Attitude, reminded me of my younger days.
Petrea, Thank you, No one tries to stop them, here in Pakistan we believe in live and let live.
Looks like fun!
If that happened in Australia, people would have a conniption!
Party poopers.
Doesn't that depend on what part of Australia you're talking about, Ararat?
