Problems

If you have followed the last few posts you must be aware of my blogger/blogspot dilema. As of this morning I have also been shut off from http://www.blogger.com so I am not even able to post pictures. Tried using several proxies but can't seem to post from most and If I do get into the posting page I am unable to upload or host pictures. I have been on the case of my ISP since the last 2-3 days and hopefully the situation will be resolved soon, untill then I will keep on trying to find a solution via a proxy or some other alternate. Sorry Guys. Hope to be back soon.

Sometimes blogger gets iffy to work with - then again it can be blocked sometimes.

I was on holiday in thesouth of England and accessed the internet via the library there and all blogs were blocked - you get one person finding a nasty blog and a ban gets put on all the millions of innocent ones.

Hope you get it resolved.

Thanks guys, still haven't found a permanent solution to my troubles but thankfully found a proxy that lets me view pictures as well as post comments. Amen for that.

Good luck finding the remedy. I am not sure what the problem is with blogger. No problems for me. But I did experience some trouble a month ago.

I changed to host my photos on flickr.com, then I upload to my blog. Seems to work better for me this way.

I use the program that came with my Canon camera to convert my RAW photos to JPG format.

Then I will use Photoshop Elements 5.0 to fine tune and adjust some settings for sharpeness and color correction.

The HDR and tonemapped photos I upload are created from a program called Photomatix. Interesting program to work in. Takes time to learn it and understand wwwhat it can and can not do.

Lastly, the only extreme manipulation I do to my photos is to eliminate license plates, or addresses. I never add peopl or objects that were not in the phot. I do not even know how to do this. I have enouh to do in lighting and color management.

good luck!

Dusty The problem here is not with blogger but my ISP Im living in Pakistan and the UAE both countries have sensorship problems, with manyy sites includng blogger, facebook, flickr, orkut, youtube and many others so sometimes it gets a little difficult. I Havent gotten around to using software to enhance the image but I love the images that have been worked on by some people so I'm thinking of trying my hand at it.

Tweaking photos is fun and rewarding. It takes some time to learn and get used to it the program. Half the fun is the result. The other half of the fun is the learning.
