Spring is here

After the last shower it looks like spring is finally here, temperatures are expected to reach 40 Celcius (104 F) in the next week so the spring will be short and the summer hot. Photographed at Defence Park, Lahore.

Forty degrees? Gasp! Is that normal in your summer or is it a short heat wave?
Enjoy your flowers while ye may.

40 C is the normal temperature for the summers, we are getting ready for a long, hot summer.

The cherry blossoms are about to bloom here in Japan. I miss seeing color. I visited Pakistan awhile back in the middle of summer.... not so enjoyable :)

Nice flowers, but how long with they stay with the heat?

Babooshka, Thanks, The heat is something we are not looking forward to.

Misawa, The cherry blossoms are amazing we have a contributor on globalthemes from Japan and her pictures were just amazing. The summers in Pakistan aren't that enjoyable I hope you can visit at a better time.

Jim, The flowers last a while, after the first couple of months we get monsoons which bring a lot of rain so it gets hot and humid, but i guess the humidity is good for the plants.

Coincidence. My post for 7th April(yesterday) was also 'Spring Is Here'. The flowers are 'Mussaenda Erythrophylla'.
